2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the program safely and effectively:

• Student information: first name, last name, and a username used to access the learning platform.
• Parent / guardian information: name and phone number, used only for program communication.
• Payment records: amount paid and payment date (we do not store card details).
• Learning activity: which sessions have been completed, to track progress.
• Login data: hashed passwords and last login time for account security.

We do not collect photographs, video of students, home addresses, school names, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to:

• Enrol students and manage their learning journey on the platform.
• Process and track program fee payments.
• Send parents important updates about sessions, timetable changes, or program news.
• Issue certificates of completion to graduating students.
• Improve the quality of our program based on anonymous participation data.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Child Safety

The safety of the children in our program is our highest priority. We do not permit students to share personal contact information publicly on the platform. Live sessions are conducted in a monitored environment. Our instructors undergo vetting before joining the team. If you have any child-safety concern, contact us immediately at contact@lunox.ng.

5. Data Security

All passwords are stored using strong one-way encryption. We cannot see your child's password. Our platform is served over HTTPS. Access to student data is restricted to authorised administrators only. We conduct periodic security reviews to keep data safe.

6. Data Retention

We retain student records for up to 3 years after program completion to support certificate verification. You may request deletion of your child's data at any time by contacting us, and we will action it within 14 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

7. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of all data we hold about your child.
• Request corrections to inaccurate information.
• Request that we delete your child's data.
• Withdraw consent for us to process your child's data at any time.

8. Cookies

We use only a single session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the platform. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. The session cookie expires when you close your browser or after 2 hours of inactivity.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify parents via the contact details on file and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
